On Thursday 12 April 2012 a final meeting of the tender committee was held. The committee consisted of the representatives of the Project Partners.

On the agenda of the meeting there was evaluation of the Technical and Financial Proposals of the bidder companies, and determination of a preferred bidder. After four hours` discussion the preliminary decision has been made. The participants of the meeting also scheduled the contractual negotiations with the potential winner company.

On 13 March 2012 the pre-bid meeting was held in the Vodokanal office Sortavala. The meeting was a scheduled part of the water component tender of the Support to sustainable development of Sortavala town for the improvement of environmental situation -project. The representatives of the project partners as well as the company, participating in tender, were present at the meeting.

February 14 and 15 all Karelia ENPI CBC Program's projects under the theme "Cross-border solutions for sustainable spatial, economic and environmental development" gathered together in a thematic meeting in Joensuu Science Park.

In thematic meeting project representatives have an opportunity to create new networks and co-operations between other people how share their interests in many fields, which in this case is spatial, economics and environmental development.

February 2nd 2012 in Science Park, Joensuu, was held a meeting where decisions about tender for technical design documentations were made. Representatives from Technoreactor Oy, Pöyry Finland Oy, JSC "Karelvodokanal" and Municipal Administrative of Sortavala Town participated and decided that two tenders will be arranged, other in Finland and other in Russia. Reason for organizing two tenders is that financing consists of two parts and each part has their own requirements what comes to tenders.

Responsible parties in project activity "Arrangement of tender for the development of the set of technical design documentation" are going to gather in a meeting and discuss about tendering and tendering arrangements.
